To motivate me to deeper study by playing my enthusiasm to share light with others, I have started this blog. We use lesser goals to motivate ourselves, because keeping a vision of our greater goals is difficult. I love studying the gospel in its own right, but sometimes its hard to recall how much I love it when I am not actively studying it. A place to hopefully bless others will bring me to that place more often. If I can be a supporting beam in someone's understanding, great.
Common themes in this blog will be Mormonism, philosophy, and things which are sweet to the inner taste, though all such will tend towards the intellect rather than the arts and the emotions.
Many posts will feature a "compass": relevant scriptures or quotes, in hopes that one reading may orient themselves towards greater revelation and study.
As new understandings come to me, I will be updating previous posts and their compass sections. Revelation is an evolving, progressive, living thing, and my posts will be also.
